This is an IT-supported course given for the first time during autumn 2003. Giving 7,5 academic points, it is intended to be available to all who are eligible for higher education.
The course deals with basic knowledge of the brain and behaviour in a broad sense, with an emphasis on the development of the nervous system. The structures of the brain and basic functions, as well as their relationship to behaviour and experience, will be considered.
The course includes literature in the form of books and articles. The course literature is to be read and known according to the directions given under Lessons and Examination.
Examination occurs through a final exam at a specific geographical location. More on this under Examination.
