The role of early family environment in the development of self-regulation
We study the role of early family environment in the development of self-regulation and later behavioral problems (i.e., ADHD symptoms). This is a longitudinal project following the same individuals from 10 months to 6 years of age, using a wide range of observational and behavioral tasks as well as questionnaires. The project aims to provide new insights into social and cognitive mechanisms as separate, interacting or mediating pathways to the development of self-regulatory skills and common behavioral problems.
